Tjebi Da Dan Expedition Tour

"A tour for real adventurers and nature lovers"

After being away for a while, we are now offering another Expedition Tour: Tjebi Da Dan Expedition Tour. Our Expedition camp is located approximately 200km from Paramaribo.

What can you expect?

Just like with the Langu Tour, you will depart from Paramaribo in a south-westerly direction by bus to the river village "Atjoni" at the upper reaches of the Suriname River, accompanied by an experienced guide. There you board the longboat towards "Kosindo", on the Gran Rio river. This is approximately 5-6 hours of sailing, depending on the water level.

After 1 overnight stay at the holiday resort "Kosindo" we sail on the second day in about 3 hours to the "Expedition Camp" in the jungle, where we spend the night for the multi-day Expedition tour. You will then sleep in a hammock with mosquito net. With a 6-day tour you will spend 3 nights at the camp and with a 7-day tour you will spend 4 nights.

The program consists of: Walk and sail to the "Expedition Camp", campfire, forest walk, animal spotting, morning boat trip, evening boat trip, fishing and relaxing at the Expedition camp.

The tour includes 3 meals per day, drinks (non-alcoholic drinks), fruit, snacks, hammock with mosquito net and an experienced guide who has a lot of knowledge of the nature, culture and lifestyle of the "Langu area".

Guaranteed departures from 2 people.

Transport.

You can choose 2 types of transport: by bus and boat or by plane. If you opt for an adventurous trip, you choose transport by bus and boat (about 8 hours). And if you don't want to travel so long and want to see the Amazon jungle from the air, you can opt for air transport (about 1 hour). You fly from the "Zorg en Hoop" airport to the "Langu airport". After you have landed at the airport, we first have lunch at "Kosindo" and after lunch we sail to the "Expedition Camp".

The costs are extra, email or call us for the current price, which will cost extra.
